SIG Wonder KIT

If you are looking for a challenge and want to build a plane from scratch and want a good plane I would recommend a SIG wonder. I have jut built one myself and I love it. It did not take long and it flies great. It does not take long to build because it is small. It might take some time to get used to flying it but after you get the hang of it flying is easy. Everything takes a little practice. The kit is around $50 and it is a box of wood and instructions. The only thing you have to buy is an engine and electronics. You can find the kit and extra pieces that you need on towerhobbies. You can put small engines on it but I would recommend nothing less than a .20 size engine so you can get the full performance. It say on the instruction for a small engine but you can put a bigger engine on it. All you have to do is put some extra weight for the CG(center of gravity). The wingspan is 37.5 inches. Another thing this plane is good for is when other people in your club have one get them together and put streamers on the wings for dog fights. This is very fun. I would only try it after you do some practice so you can reduce the crash rate. The SIG Wonders are also somewhat durable so they can take some beating. I really like this kit and recomend it to people that have the patience to build it and fly it. I also like that it is small and you can bring it when you want to fly but do not want to bring bigger planes.
